A disco & downtempo devotee, her sets are a quirky cocktail full of melodic vocals & keys; 70s & 80s; acid house, soulful house, afro boogie, funky basslines and FUN. Oh, along with all shades of the disco rainbow.

As a DJ and classically trained pianist, she FEELS music, along with when to reset the tempo - mixup the beat - whatever she can to steer clear of monotony - plus whether now is the right moment to play that balearic chugger or that forgotten 80s art rock gem. High Hat is sensitive to the energy of a space, and being appropriate for ‘time and place’. She'll tell you daytime and sunset hour is her forte, but you can honestly put her anywhere and she’ll tailor tunes à la a chameleon. 

 

Having relocated to Byron Bay after recent expat chapters in the Middle East and Zanzibar, you’d swear this theatrical creature was teleported from another synthpop galaxy far far away. Indeed, she’s a rare bird with fine taste who stands for freedom of expression and celebrating life. An individual in every sense, her wish is for the dance floor to ignite everyone’s inner absurdist, to fully self-express and come together and have a laugh. Another cup of eccentricity please!
