Eclectic, eccentric and hedonist, Monsieur Diop is in eternal search for the timeless sound. His devotion for music took him on a journey of no return.

Monsieur Diop's creative approach, whether in music or visual arts, revolves around the progression of natural incidents in the pursuit of harmony. He believes in the concept of Order in Chaos and embraces trial and error as part of his artistic process, creating juxtaposition and contrasts to enhance stories and poetry.

With the opening of a fresh outdoor venue for hedonistic families and his events Bare Foot Beat, Monsieur Diop has become an influential figure in Byron Bay's cultural scene. His sound embody the new wave of this community by blending new age sustainable philosophy with world downtempo electronic music. A dancefloor of tribal poetry and electronic flavours. We also find Monsieur Diop spinning at Splendour in the Grass, Chi Wow Wah town, Festival 23, Tempo Comodo, The Breakfast Club, Treehouse Byron Bay and countless bars, restaurant and festivals around Australia and the world.

Monsieur Diop is a versatile DJ involved in various creative endeavors. From 2009 to 2015, he resided in Berlin and was an active member of the collective KulturErsatzt. During this time, Monsieur Diop engaged in diverse activities such as organizing street fashion shows, free parties, pop-up restaurants, and art exhibitions. You could often find him getting involved at the Sisyphos nightclub or running an art show in Funkhaus Grunau.

In 2020, he co-founded an event production company named Mr Ashbrown, creating creative solutions for venues and festivals across Australia. The company produces its own cabarets and music events while collaborating with entrepreneurs and artists internationally.
